Sami Zayn Believes The Bloodline Storyline Has Longevity Potential If Executed Correctly

Sami Zayn, known for his knack for compelling WWE storylines, has been pivotal in The Bloodline narrative. He believes that with the right execution, The Bloodline storyline has the potential to captivate audiences for years to come.

Zayn’s association with The Bloodline began in the aftermath of WrestleMania 38, following a loss to Johnny Knoxville. Seeking redemption and respect from the locker room, Zayn approached Roman Reigns.

Over the next year, Zayn experienced the rollercoaster ride of being part of The Bloodline. He earned their trust and was eventually granted the title of Honorary Uce, a mark of acceptance and respect from the esteemed Samoan wrestling family. Zayn was making strides toward his goals.

However, Zayn’s journey was not without its hurdles. He ultimately betrayed Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, leading to a triumphant victory alongside Kevin Owens against The Usos for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.

In a conversation on the After The Bell podcast, Zayn shared his thoughts on The Bloodline storyline. He expressed his belief that the narrative could endure for years if handled correctly by WWE.

“I do think we stumbled on something kind of magical, kind of lightning in a bottle. And the fact that we were able to draw it out for over a year and that it’s still kind of going on. I think it’s next evolution … the only thing I can almost liken it to is my story with Kevin, which is a 20-year story, in fact.

Like Kevin and Sami, the key to it would be going apart and coming back together. To where it could actually be, if you do it successfully, could be woven in in a way for another three to four years. But you do it in a very careful and conscientious way, whereby you’re not burning fans out on it.”

Last week, the Bloodline storyline took a dramatic turn on Smackdown when Solo Sikoa turned on Jimmy Uso. As we wait to see what WWE has in store for The Bloodline next, it’s clear that the narrative continues to evolve and captivate.
