AEW Dynamite Sees a Surge in Viewership Following Double or Nothing Event

0

All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Dynamite experienced a significant increase in viewership following the Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. The episode aired on Wednesday night averaged 923,000 viewers on TBS, marking a 10.1 percent increase from the previous week. This is the highest audience total for the show since March 22.

Interestingly, there was no major sports competition on Wednesday night, which could have contributed to the rise in viewership. However, in the 18-49 demographic, Dynamite drew a 0.29 rating, a decrease of 9.4 percent from the previous week.

Compared to the same week in 2022, which also followed that year’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Dynamite’s overall audience was down 3.9 percent, while its 18-49 rating was down 27.5 percent.

Despite the mixed results, this week’s show saw a 9.1 percent increase in overall viewers compared to recent averages, indicating a positive trend for AEW Dynamite. As the wrestling promotion continues to deliver high-octane matches and compelling storylines, it will be interesting to see how these numbers evolve in the coming weeks.
