Logan Paul, the YouTube sensation turned wrestler, has made quite an impact in the WWE ring. His performances have left fans eager for more, and the feeling is mutual. With major events like Money in the Bank and SummerSlam on the horizon, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Paul, also known as The Maverick, back in action.
Paul’s last appearance was at WrestleMania 39, where he faced off against Seth Rollins. Despite not clinching a win, Paul’s performance earned praise from The Visionary. Post-match, Rollins acknowledged that Paul indeed has a place in WWE.
On his Impaulsive podcast, Paul was candid about his aspirations. He expressed a strong desire to return to the ring, indicating his readiness to dive back into the action.
“I am so hungry to get back in there, dude. I am so hungry to get back in there, and I just got cable here in Puerto Rico. I’ve been watching Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown and the big events.
“Night of Champions just happened. As a fan, for the first time, I’m watching the consumer angle. I didn’t always do that. As a YouTuber, I got to go and be a YouTuber because I knew what people are looking for, what they wanted, and what made a good video and kept the audience retained. Now, as a WWE fan, I can see how the performance translates from what it feels like from my perspective to on TV. I think this angle and these last three months I’ve had off in this sport will lead to an amazing next couple of years in the WWE. I appreciate you saying that. I’m really excited to get back.”
While the timeline for Paul’s return to WWE remains uncertain, it’s clear that he’s juggling a lot. Paul has a full plate between sponsorships, podcasts, training, and his ongoing boxing career. He’s hinted at stepping back into the boxing ring this year.
Paul’s WWE journey has seen him in high-stakes matches, including a face-off with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title in Saudi Arabia. His presence undeniably brings a spotlight to the sport. It’s evident that Paul’s WWE story is far from over.
