Cody Rhodes, undoubtedly one of WWE’s top Superstars, continues to shine brightly in the company. Following his intense feud with Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 39, Rhodes has garnered tremendous fan support. Recently, during a WWE live event, Rhodes called out both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
After his unsuccessful bid to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, Rhodes found himself in a heated rivalry with Brock Lesnar, ultimately emerging victorious at WWE Backlash. Now, the stage is set for Rhodes to face The Beast Incarnate at Night of Champions, and he is laser-focused on the upcoming clash.
Rhodes engaged in a thrilling Street Fight against Finn Balor during the WWE Supershow in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Following his triumph, Rhodes made a direct challenge to Roman Reigns, who was falsely advertised for the event, as well as to Brock Lesnar ahead of their impending match.
“My theory is that the reason that Roman Reigns didn’t want to be here is because he’s afraid of me,” Rhodes boldly stated. “That theory also extends to my opponent at Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar. I make you a promise, the next time I come here, my promise is this: I hope to have defeated Brock Lesnar not just once, but twice. I also hope that I’ll be wearing some gold around my waist.”
Next week on RAW, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will share the same stage, building anticipation for their highly anticipated showdown at WWE Clash of Champions in Saudi Arabia on May 27th. Wrestling enthusiasts eagerly await whether this match will live up to their expectations.
