WWE Censors Bad Bunny’s Attire During SmackDown Appearance

WWE’s rich history is marked with a series of changes, including the introduction of big stars like Bad Bunny, who donned a vintage company logo during his recent appearance on SmackDown. Unfortunately, the logo in question belonged to the old company name that WWE is no longer permitted to display due to a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund in the UK.

The WWE “got the F out” of their old logo after the legal battle, and since then, the outdated logo cannot be used in any new media. WWE had to bear the cost of editing out the logo from their DVD releases for years, but it saved them from another lawsuit.

Bad Bunny’s WWE jacket on SmackDown featured the old WWF Attitude Era logo, leading to WWE having to digitize over it to comply with the lawsuit terms. The editing team had to scramble to cover up the logo, adding to their chaos on a busy night.

However, despite the blunder, there is reportedly no heat on Bad Bunny from Vince McMahon. Nevertheless, WWE is likely to exercise more caution in the future to prevent such slip-ups. Bad Bunny’s appearance on SmackDown was a huge moment, but the incident serves as a reminder of the intricate legalities involved in the world of sports entertainment.
