In addition to the wrestler shake-ups, the 2023 WWE Draft has also resulted in a change in ring announcers for Raw and SmackDown.
According to WWE.com, Samantha Irvin will be the new ring announcer for Raw, while Mike Rome is transitioning to SmackDown. They were both previously assigned to the opposite brand.
It’s worth noting that Irvin is engaged to WWE wrestler Ricochet, who is also moving to the Raw roster. On Monday night’s second round of the draft, Raw picked up Ricochet and his tag team partner Braun Strowman.
The updated rosters will take effect after WWE’s Backlash pay-per-view, which is set to take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico this Saturday (May 6).
