As the 2023 WWE Draft continues, there are bound to be significant changes to the main roster. However, fans should be aware of potential spoilers for the draft’s outcome in this article.
According to Sean Sapp of Fightful, there is a good chance that Seth Rollins and Johnny Gargano will end up on RAW once the dust settles after the draft.
“Not that it’s much of a surprise, but Johnny Gargano and Seth Rollins were expected to be drafted to WWE Raw as of this weekend,” Sapp reported.
It’s not surprising that WWE would want to keep married couples on the same brand. Gargano and Rollins’ wives were already drafted to RAW, with Becky Lynch being the second name called in the 2023 WWE Draft, and Candice LeRae and Dexter Lumis being drafted to RAW during the supplemental draft on the SmackDown LowDown.
While WWE is not typically seen as a company that concedes a lot to their talent’s personal lives, putting married couples on the same brand is a gesture that is appreciated across the board. For example, Bianca Belair and the Street Profits were all drafted to SmackDown since Belair and Montez Ford are married. This pattern of keeping couples on the same brand is generally followed by WWE, with rare exceptions.
Fans will have to tune in to see whether this spoiler comes to fruition and how the rest of the draft plays out.
