WWE’s 2023 draft has garnered a lot of buzz and several surprise picks have left fans speculating about the company’s plans. However, one superstar who was always meant to go to RAW was The Miz, and there’s a good reason why.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, The Miz “had” to be on RAW, and it’s all because of his reality television show, Miz & Mrs, which airs on the USA Network. Since the show airs immediately after RAW, having The Miz on the red brand makes perfect sense as it helps to promote the program and build a good lead-in for the network.
It’s no secret that Miz & Mrs is a big show for the USA Network, and it’s also not the first time the network has utilized WWE programming to cross-promote their shows. The network’s close relationship with WWE has been mutually beneficial for both parties, and The Miz’s placement on RAW is just another example of that.
The Miz is a versatile superstar and has accomplished a lot in his time in WWE. Although he’s not currently in a title picture, WWE still has big plans for him and his placement on RAW is a testament to that.
