WWE’s recent announcement requiring employees to return to the office has caused concern among staff members. Despite the upcoming merger with the UFC, the company is still planning to move into their new headquarters. This, coupled with Nick Khan’s mandate to end remote work assignments, has raised fears of potential job cuts.

However, a follow-up email from Nick Khan pushed back the return date for WWE employees to May 8th, giving some employees additional time to prepare for their return to the office.

Sources who spoke to Sean Sapp of Fightful noted that most of the jobs that required in-person attendance had already returned to the office before Khan’s email. This raises questions about the need for the mandate in the first place.

With the WWE and UFC merger on the horizon, there is concern that redundancies may be discovered, leading to layoffs. However, the specifics of the merger remain unclear, and WWE staff members are left waiting to see what changes may occur.

Despite these concerns, the company is still pushing ahead with its plans, leaving employees unsure of their job security.
