The latest superstars to head for the exit are The Dyad, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler, who requested their WWE releases. While WWE initially refused, The Dyad will remain in NXT until their contracts expire.
Insider Sean Sapp revealed The Dyad’s plans in a recent note for Fightful’s subscribers. “We’re told that they plan to continue wrestling in the States after leaving WWE,” Sapp wrote, referring to Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler’s intentions to stay in the US after their WWE contracts end in October.
With The Dyad’s imminent departure, changes could be on the horizon for Schism in NXT. While they continue their run in WWE, the group’s future is still being determined. However, Ava and Joe Gacy could emerge as a new duo without Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler in the picture.
