Wrestling enthusiasts were taken aback by the latest Wrestling Observer Radio report, which revealed that Kevin Owens sustained an ankle injury over the weekend. Owens was present in Fort Wayne, alongside Sami Zayn, for a live event and competed against The Usos in a bout that led to his ankle injury.
Despite the setback, Owens refused to back down and even appeared in a rematch against The Usos in Toledo the following night. Fortunately, Owens’ ankle injury is not too serious and he is anticipated to recuperate swiftly. Wrestling expert Dave Meltzer affirmed that Owens would be fit and ready to participate in Friday’s episode of Smackdown.
