It’s been almost a year since Naomi and Sasha Banks left WWE after a successful run with the company. While much has happened in the pro wrestling world since then, Naomi, whose real name is Trinity Fatu, has yet to appear for another promotion.
Recent reports suggest that Stardom, a Japanese women’s wrestling promotion, couldn’t afford to sign her. However, it appears that Trinity Fatu was spotted backstage at a GCW event.
According to Sean Sapp of Fightful, Trinity Fatu was seen backstage at GCW’s April 22nd show in Orlando. While the reason for her presence is unclear, it’s certainly an intriguing development.
Fightful reached out to GCW to inquire about Trinity Fatu’s visit and whether there are plans for her to be involved with the promotion moving forward. However, no clarification was given by GCW at this time.
With her recent appearance at a GCW event, fans are eagerly anticipating whether Trinity Fatu will make a return to the pro wrestling ring soon.
