Rating News on A&E: Biography & Rivals

In the latest episode of Biography: WWE Legends, fans got an in-depth look at The Iron Sheik’s storied career. Despite facing tough competition from the NBA playoffs on TNT, the show managed to pull in an impressive average of 452,000 viewers on A&E. While this number is down two percent from last week’s Dusty Rhodes documentary, it’s still the second-highest audience total the show has seen since March 5.

In terms of ratings, Biography finished 21st on the cable charts with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo. This is identical to last week’s rating and matches the show’s best rating in the key demo since February 19. It’s clear that fans are still tuning in to see their favorite WWE legends being celebrated on screen.

Directly following Biography on A&E was WWE Rivals, which focused on the Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper feud. However, the show didn’t fare as well in terms of viewership, with an average of 357,000 viewers tuning in. This is down 16.4 percent from last week and marks the lowest viewership total the show has seen since March 19.

Rivals finished 26th on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating in 18-49. This is down 21.4 percent from last week and ties the second-lowest rating of the current season. It’s clear that fans were more interested in tuning into the NBA playoffs on TNT, which topped the cable charts with a 1.93 rating in 18-49 and averaged over five million viewers.

Overall, while WWE Rivals may have struggled to compete with the NBA playoffs, Biography: WWE Legends continues to be a hit with viewers, proving that fans are still eager to learn more about the legends who have helped shape the world of professional wrestling.
