AEW’s recent Battle of the Belts has wrapped up, and viewership figures for the event have been released. According to Wrestlenomics, the show drew in 415,000 viewers, representing a minor increase from the previous edition, which aired in October 2022 and pulled in 409,000 viewers.

Previous Battle of the Belts events has seen varying viewership numbers, with the first installment in January 2022 capturing an impressive 704,000 viewers, while the fourth event in October 2022 drew in 317,000 viewers. The recent Battle of the Belts VI showcased a headline bout for the ROH World Tag Team Championship, with The Lucha Bros taking on QT Marshall/Powerhouse Hobbs. The show aired live at 11 p.m. ET after AEW Rampage and ranked 12th on cable for the night.

In terms of the coveted 18 to 49 demographic, Battle of the Belts VI received a rating of 0.14, which marked a significant uptick from the previous edition’s rating of 0.11. Several videos from the event proved to be particularly popular on YouTube, including the announcement of a new challenger for Orange Cassidy’s AEW International title, which received 198,000 views. Other notable videos included Taya Valkyrie’s disruption of Jade Cargill’s victory celebration, which amassed 189,000 views, and The Lucha Brothers’ debut as the ROH tag-team champions, which racked up 146,000 views.

Overall, the viewership numbers for Battle of the Belts VI are a positive indication for AEW, and it will be intriguing to see what changes the promotion makes in the future to boost its audience even further.
