The latest episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network had an average of 555,000 viewers, down 11.6 percent from the previous week, tying it for the second-lowest viewership total of 2023. Additionally, the show’s 18-49 demo rating of 0.13 was down 18.8 percent from the previous week, which ties it for the fourth-lowest rating of the year in that category.

The decline in ratings could be attributed to the show competing against cable news coverage of the arraignment of former president Donald Trump, with those stations holding 32 of the 42 spots ahead of NXT on the cable charts. The head-to-head coverage on Fox News and CNN combined for more than 8.5 million viewers and a 0.94 rating in 18-49.

The drop in ratings was evident across all demos, with women aged 18-49 seeing the biggest decrease at 36.4 percent. When compared to the same week in 2022, NXT’s overall viewership was down 12 percent, while the 18-49 rating was down 7.1 percent.

Here is a breakdown of the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for NXT, as well as the 10-week averages in all categories. This week’s show saw a decline of 6.4 percent in overall viewership and a 7.1 percent decrease in 18-49 ratings compared to the recent averages.
