Alexa Bliss is known for her success in WWE’s Women’s division, where she has become a prominent figure over the years. However, the talented wrestler has also kept herself busy with a number of projects outside of WWE, including an appearance on the hit show “The Masked Singer.” In a recent interview, Bliss opened up about how her experience on the show helped her overcome her anxiety.

Little Miss Bliss took a hiatus from WWE television, possibly due to burnout. During this time, she underwent treatment for a skin cancer issue, thankfully recovering from it. Later, she faced her fear of singing in front of others by participating in “The Masked Singer.”

In a conversation with Behind the Velvet Rope, Bliss revealed that participating in the show was a fun opportunity for her but also served as a means of getting over her anxiety and proving to herself that she could sing in front of people:

“I originally wanted to do ‘The Masked Singer’ one, because I thought it would be a fun opportunity. Two, because I have a terrible fear of singing in front of people. Now, I’ve gone to karaoke places and had too much tequila and I’ve rapped Eminem songs, but that’s completely different. That’s not like singing in front of people and having to look at people while they’re watching you sing. So for me, it was to get over my anxiety and get over my fear and prove to myself that I can do it.”

When Bliss appeared on “The Masked Singer” as the Axolotl, wrestling fans were taken aback. However, despite her initial hesitation, Bliss put on an impressive performance and thoroughly enjoyed her experience on the show.

Alexa Bliss had been on hiatus from WWE television following the 2023 Royal Rumble show. However, she is set to make an appearance at WrestleMania 39 in some capacity. It remains to be seen what role she will play, but fans will undoubtedly be eager to see her back in action.
