The Young Bucks, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, are a top-tier tag team in the world of professional wrestling, known for their exceptional skills in the ring. Unfortunately, fans won’t see the brothers in the squared circle for some time as they recover from injuries sustained during an attack by The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) before AEW Dynamite last Wednesday.

Nick Jackson suffered a severe injury during the attack and was stretchered out of the arena and into an ambulance. On AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page gave a medical update on The Young Bucks, revealing that Nick separated his shoulder, while Matt Jackson suffered a partial bicep tear.

Don Callis interrupted the interview to apologize to Adam Page, but The Blackpool Combat Club showed up to attack him. Jon Moxley even took out Callis with a hard punch to the face, leaving him busted wide open. The attack occurred just before Kenny Omega’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship defense against Jeff Cobb.

Although Matt Jackson’s injury is legitimate, he is expected to make on-screen appearances while he recovers from the injury. The former AEW World Trios Tag Team Champion suffered the injury during a trios tag team title match against the Jericho Appreciation Society and House of Black.

The absence of The Young Bucks is a significant setback for the AEW tag team division, but fans are hoping for their quick recovery and return to the ring.
