Bryan Danielson Makes a Thrilling Return to AEW Dynamite, Launches Attack on Kenny Omega

Bryan Danielson made a stunning return to AEW and sent shockwaves through the wrestling world by targeting The Elite.

During Wednesday’s Dynamite, the former AEW World title challenger joined forces with the Blackpool Combat Club to launch an attack on Kenny Omega after his match against Jeff Cobb. Danielson initially looked as if he would aid Omega after Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli jumped him. However, he surprised everyone by delivering a busaiku knee to Omega and then joining the BCC in further attacking him.

This was Danielson’s first appearance since delivering an emotional speech on the post-Revolution Dynamite a few weeks ago, where he announced that he was taking a break following his loss to AEW World Champion MJF in their 60+ minute Iron Man match.

The attack on Omega shocked the fans, as Danielson and Omega have only faced each other once in AEW history, going to a 30-minute time limit draw at Dynamite Grand Slam in September 2021.

With The Young Bucks injured and Don Callis and Hangman Page taken out earlier on this week’s show, The Elite is currently in a vulnerable position.
