WWE Cancels Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania Championship Bout - Here's Why

As the road to WrestleMania heats up, WWE is busy making plans for each match and ensuring that they are given the proper build. However, one match that won’t be happening as planned is Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler’s championship bout for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey was pulled from the match due to a lack of time to build for the bout and concerns over her recent injury. With a fractured arm and no TV build for a championship match at WrestleMania, the decision was made to protect Rousey and switch up the plans.

Instead, Rousey and Baszler will compete in a four-way tag team match. As for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, they will not be defended during WrestleMania this year. Becky Lynch and Lita currently hold the titles, and they are set to team up with Trish Stratus to face Damage CTRL in another match.

However, this decision hasn’t gone down well with Bayley, who has expressed her disappointment at the titles not being defended at WrestleMania. The titles mean a lot to her, and fans will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for the championship’s future. With only a few days until the big event, what other surprises are in store for fans at WrestleMania remains to be seen.
