Alexa Bliss credits her appearance on "The Masked Singer" for helping her with anxiety

Alexa Bliss recently spoke about her experience on the hit FOX series The Masked Singer, where she appeared as Axolotl. In an interview with TV Insider, Bliss discussed her motivation for joining the show, her nerves about singing in front of people, and what she learned from the experience.

Bliss said yes to the show because she thought it would be a fun opportunity and a chance to overcome her stage fright. She explained that she had a horrible experience singing karaoke at a WWE Christmas party and has not sung in public since. The Masked Singer was a chance for her to face her fear and prove that she could sing in front of people.

Despite her nerves, Bliss had a great time on the show and found dancing easier with the mask on than singing. She was surprised when Jenny McCarthy immediately guessed her identity and was thrilled to learn that Ken Jeong was a big wrestling fan.

Bliss also talked about the challenges of singing and dancing at the same time and how she struggled with her breathing and cardio during her performance. She learned that singing and wrestling require different skills and that she needed to work on her cardio and breathing to be able to sing and dance at the same time.

Overall, Bliss found the experience positive and was proud of herself for facing her fear and putting on a great performance on The Masked Singer.
