Next Friday’s SmackDown will feature a singles match between Cody Rhodes and Ludwig Kaiser, who agreed to face each other after a confrontation on The SmackDown LowDown. Rhodes proposed the match after Kaiser mocked him for eliminating Gunther in the Royal Rumble. This will be the first time they face each other. Rhodes will also challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. SmackDown will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and feature a match between Rey Mysterio and LA Knight.
