John Cena to juggle WrestleMania 39 duties alongside a new movie project

WWE Superstar John Cena has made a highly anticipated return to the road to WrestleMania 39, where he is set to challenge Austin Theory for the WWE United States championship. However, with Cena’s busy Hollywood schedule, the 16-time World Champion will balance his WWE commitments with filming for his next movie project.

Cena’s demanding film career has limited his availability for WWE appearances, making his return to WrestleMania all the more significant. His recent wrap-up of filming for the comedy movie Ricky Stanicky in Canada with Zac Efron allowed him to reserve a few weeks for his WWE comeback.

According to PWInsider, Cena had boarded a plane to the United States to be on location for the Ali Wong movie Grand Death Lotto before appearing on RAW on March 6th. He will continue to film for the movie alongside his WrestleMania build-up in the upcoming weeks.

Notably, Cena recently visited Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory school in Atlanta as a guest speaker and trainer, offering advice to the pupils.

At WrestleMania 39, Cena will take on Austin Theory in his first WrestleMania match in three years, having last competed at WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt. The question remains whether Cena can successfully juggle his movie commitments and WWE duties on the road to WrestleMania.
