WATCH: AEW World Trios Championship: The Elite vs. The House of Black

As The House of Black and The Elite make their way to the ring, their respective entrance music blares through the speakers. The opening match features Kenny Omega and Buddy Matthews, with Buddy targeting Kenny’s arm. The two competitors try to take each other down, but their efforts result in a stalemate. Malakai Black tags in, and the action heats up.

Kenny executes an arm drag, but Malakai quickly counters. Omega attempts the one-winged angel, but Black escapes and goes for a back heel kick, only to have Omega dodge it. Matt enters the ring and summons Brody King, while Nick also tags in and takes on Brody. The two teams engage in a face-to-face brawl, with Nick delivering a facebuster and a moonsault, and Matt climbing the ropes and diving onto Black and Matthews.

Kenny executes a hurricanrana on King, and then dives onto The House of Black. Nick follows with a 450 splash on King, but King fights back, knocking down both Nick and Omega. King then lands a splash on Kenny and attacks Nick in the corner before tagging out.

Nick strikes Buddy with an enzuigiri, and Brody takes advantage by attacking him. Brody then kicks King and tags in Kenny, who executes a crossbody on King and takes out Buddy and Black. Kenny finishes off King with a kotaru crusher, but King blocks his moonsault and Buddy strikes back with a shotgun dropkick. King attempts a cannonball, but Kenny evades and lands a V trigger, covering King for a near fall.

Kenny tries to execute the one-winged angel, but King is too heavy. He tries a snap dragon suplex, but King counters with a lariat and tags out. Nick sends Brody into Buddy, and Malakai attempts a submission hold on Nick, but Matt intervenes. Buddy lands a meteora, and Matt responds with slice bread, only for Black to strike back with a knee.

Kenny lands a knee strike, but Julia Hart grabs Nick’s leg, and Brody seizes the opportunity to put him in a sleeper hold. Matt executes a superkick on Brody, followed by another from Omega, but Black counters with kicks. Omega responds with snap dragon suplexes and distracts Julia Hart with a V trigger, taking her out of the match.

Black lands a back heel kick on Kenny, but Nick makes the save. The Young Bucks execute Dante’s inferno, but Matt makes the save, and they continue to fight. The Young Bucks execute a superkick on King and Buddy, followed by another on Black. Omega tags in Matt, and they land the BTE Trigger, but Matthews saves the match.

The teams try for a Meltzer Driver, but get caught, and The House of Black finishes off The Elite with Dante’s Inferno, securing the win.
