MJF, known as The Salt of the Earth, caused a stir during his title match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution by hurling insults at the San Francisco crowd and throwing water in a young fan’s face. This display of arrogance and disrespect left many audience members stunned and outraged.
Following the incident, AEW President Tony Khan had a serious conversation with MJF regarding his behavior towards the young fan named Titus. Although reports suggested that Titus was upset, Khan stated that the young fan took the incident in stride and will be returning to AEW.
Despite MJF’s controversial actions, he retained his AEW World Championship after a 60-minute Iron Man match with Danielson went into Sudden Death. As AEW continues to plan for MJF’s future, it remains to be seen what consequences his disruptive antics will have on his career.
