2/27 WWE Monday Night RAW Rating News

0

The latest viewership numbers for Raw have just come in, and the ratings are still being delayed. However, we have some solid figures to report, starting with the total number of viewers, which came in at 1.77 million. This is the lowest number since the end of the football season, but don’t let that fool you because the 18-49 rating of 0.51 is a noteworthy achievement. This figure is higher than recorded two weeks ago, which was 0.47, but with a much larger audience in total.

Last night’s Raw episode was down from the previous week’s 2.01 million viewers. That’s a drop of 12 percent in viewership and nine percent in the coveted 18-49 demographic. However, the decrease in overall viewership might be misleading since the program drew in a younger audience than usual. Likely, people over 50 years old were less interested in the show.

Interestingly, Raw’s viewership numbers this year have shown an increase in the 18-49 age group, even though USA Network is available in six percent fewer homes than a year ago. Raw’s total viewership has only gone up by one percent compared to last year’s figures, but its 18-49 rating is up by a solid nine percent. If we adjusted the numbers based on the percentage of available viewers, it would translate to a seven percent increase in viewership and a whopping 15 percent increase in the 18-49 demographic. Raw has drawn in a younger crowd, which is a promising sign for the future.
