Last week on RAW, Lita appeared to set up a massive title match against Damage CTRL. Tonight, the WWE Hall of Famer achieved the first tag team championship of her career alongside Becky Lynch.
In the main event of RAW, Lita teamed up with Lynch to take on Dakota Kai and IYO SKY for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Although Lynch did most of the heavy lifting, Lita was able to make significant contributions to the match.
Bayley tried to prevent Lita from getting the hot tag during the match. However, Trish Stratus made a surprise return to eliminate the Role Model from the equation and encourage Lita from ringside.
Lita ultimately secured the victory by executing a twist of fate on IYO SKY after Trish stopped Bayley from intervening. Lynch then applied an arm bar to Dakota Sky on the apron, allowing Lita to hit a moonsault on SKY for the win and her first tag team championship.
