According to Tony Khan, a second Forbidden Door event is being planned. He remained tight-lipped when asked if the announcement would provide details on the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2 event. However, he did mention that the announcement would lead the company in exciting new directions, and he is excited to share the news with the AEW community.
“There are a lot of exciting things in the near future for AEW. All I can say is we have an important announcement coming at this show in Phoenix. And it’s an exciting development for the company, and I’m excited to share it with the fans in Phoenix and all over the world.”
