Cody Rhodes is currently one of the most prominent WWE stars, and his stature has only grown since his impressive showing at WrestleMania 38. Despite this, it appears that Rhodes has apologized for his WWE RAW segment being unexpectedly cut short during a recent episode.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman engaged in a heated promo segment leading up to Rhodes’ upcoming match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The exchange occurred via video-link, with Paul Heyman sporting a neck brace after Kevin Owens’ stunner at WWE Elimination Chamber. Heyman spoke about the hardships of life on the road for Reigns and made suggestive comments regarding Rhodes’ wife.
However, Rhodes was unable to offer a proper reply due to the segment being cut short. After the show concluded, The American Nightmare took to Twitter to express his regret about the segment being shortened.
Sorry the mic time got cut short and apologies for losing my temper a bit, but more importantly Ottawa…I wasn’t sure you’d be interested in the merch for The American Nightmare…boy was I wrong 😂, thank you VERY much and next time hopefully I’ll be in action. Wonderful night.
