Mercedes Mone wins IWGP Women’s Championship in her NJPW debut match against KAIRI at Battle in the Valley PPV. Mone secured the win with her new finisher, Mone Maker, after a back-and-forth battle that featured her old Bank Statement and Bayley-to-Belly moves.

The event’s main card experienced technical difficulties, resulting in a 43-minute delay. In other matches, KENTA defeated Fred Rosser to win the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship with the help of Bullet Club’s Juice Robinson. Zack Sabre Jr. retained the NJPW World Television title by defeating Clark Connors, and Motor City Machine Guns kept the Strong Openweight Tag titles by defeating West Coast Wrecking Crew.

Kazuchika Okada retained the IWGP World Heavyweight title in the closing bout against Hiroshi Tanahashi. After the match, Okada asked Tanahashi to join forces to pursue the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team titles. Mone hinted at a possible mixed tag team match featuring herself and Okada.
