At the start of 2023, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) revamped the presentation of its flagship shows “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Rampage.” According to recent reports, AEW may also be shaking up its programming lineup.

A new trademark filing for “AEW Collision” suggests that the promotion is planning to launch an educational and entertaining wrestling program accessible across multiple media platforms. The trademark covers a range of services, from live wrestling performances and the production of wrestling programs to the distribution of ongoing TV programs and multimedia content featuring wrestling.

It’s unclear whether “AEW Collision” will focus on advancing storylines from previous events or serve as a new, standalone addition to AEW’s already diverse programming lineup, which includes “AEW Dark,” “AEW Dark Elevation,” and the quarterly “AEW Battle of the Belts” specials, in addition to “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Rampage.”

Despite the challenges of attracting viewers to new programs, Kathleen Finch, CCO of Warner Bros Discovery, has expressed confidence in AEW’s popularity among its audience. The company recently attempted to capitalize on AEW’s success with the ill-received “Power Slap” program, but it seems that AEW’s future programming may hold more promise.
