Randy Orton's Father Provides Update on His Son's Condition

Randy Orton was at the peak of his career alongside Matt Riddle as the RAW Tag Team Champions. However, the duo lost the belts to the Usos, and Orton has been absent from the scene ever since. This situation is not just a storyline to write Orton off the television but rather a result of a genuine injury that has temporarily halted his progress and success. As a surefire inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, Orton’s injury has come as a setback.

Randy Orton underwent a successful back fusion surgery and is currently recovering at home. As the WWE gears toward WrestleMania, Orton is taking the time to heal and recuperate.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently gave a short update on Randy Orton’s progress. It has been reported that there are no current updates on Orton’s return, and it appears that fans will have to wait a while longer before seeing him back in action.

We’ve heard no wrestling update on him recently but his back injuries were very serious and a few months ago there was concern about whether he’d be able to return, or at best, it would be a long time, which it has already been.

Randy Orton and his tag team partner Matt Riddle did not participate in the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Riddle, known as The Original Bro, has been absent from television for some time now, but this absence is not due to any injury. Instead, Riddle failed a WWE Wellness Policy test and is currently rehabilitating.

The future of RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Matt Riddle) in WWE is uncertain. Fans eagerly await any indication of their return to the ring, and it remains to be seen if and when they will make their way back to WWE television.
