Update on the Jey Uso and The Bloodline

Jey Uso’s Walkout

During the main event of the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens, but was confronted with a betrayal from Sami Zayn. Another betrayal occurred, but Jey Uso refused to participate in the next attack. The WWE now has intriguing plans for The Bloodline after Jey Uso’s departure.

On this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Sami Zayn attempted to gain the advantage over Roman Reigns, but it failed him. Meanwhile, Jey Uso was still not present on WWE TV.

Jey Uso responded to his absence by signaling a split from the faction. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso engaged in a tag team match after Smackdown’s broadcast ended.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Jey Uso’s absence in the storyline may lead to Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso forming a tag team. With a tag team championship match on the horizon, Solo Sikoa could replace his brother using the Freebird rule.

Braun Strowman and Ricochet have to wrestle The Usos next week. So, that’s a weird one, so maybe they can’t keep Jey out. Maybe Solo, can they do that? I guess they sort of established that on RAW, the Adam Pearance thing. I know Jimmy and Solo did a dark match against Gallows and Anderson last night, so they are giving them experience as a team, or at least one match as a team, perhaps that is where they will go.
