Charlotte Flair’s numerous WWE championship victories have elicited frustration from fans, who believe she is overexposed. Despite this, her unparalleled wrestling abilities are acknowledged by all. Interestingly, she was only told about her latest title win on the day of the event.

During a recent episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the Smackdown Women’s Championship changed hands in a surprising turn of events when Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey. The outcome marked a stunning comeback for Charlotte, also known as “The Queen.”

To Charlotte Flair’s surprise, she was met with cheers after winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship. She stated that she did not anticipate a warm reception from the audience.

During a conversation on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Charlotte Flair shared that she found out about winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship on the day of the December 30th show.

“I didn’t find out I was winning the title until I got there. I didn’t have gear with me. My amazing cleaning lady brought me my gear. I should have known better. I’m coming to a wrestling show, I just brought my outfit. I thought it was just going to be a walkout surprise because I had been gone for so long, I really didn’t need to be any major fireworks, but when I got there they were like, ‘You need your gear.’ I got the call at maybe 5ish that I needed gear, right before I got to the arena. She got to the arena around 7, 7:15.”
