Sami Zayn has been having a great time as the “Honorary Uce” in The Bloodline, but this week didn’t go well for him as he was hit with a famous finisher by both Kevin Owens and a WWE official.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a long history of friendship, and their careers have intersected multiple times, including a highly anticipated match at WrestleMania 37. Recently, they have found themselves on opposite sides of a contentious rivalry between Owens and Roman Reigns’ Bloodline.
The two former best friends were a part of yet another one-on-one showdown during this week’s WWE live event in Greensboro. However, an interesting moment saw Sami Zayn get into an altercation with the WWE official for the match, Jessika Carr. Sami’s provocation led to Carr hitting him with a stunner, following which Kevin Owens also hit the finisher and picked up the win.
