– Norman Reedus voices Daryl Dixon in the crossover event

The apocalypse is coming to the battlefield. AMC Networks and Wargaming have teamed up for an official crossover event bringing The Walking Dead to World of Tanks, launching November 6 and running through November 17. The Battle Pass Special: The Walking Dead lets players recruit five legendary survivors as crew members and earn exclusive themed rewards.

Commanders will be able to enlist Rick Grimes and Negan through regular chapter progression, while Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and The Governor can be unlocked via bundles. Each character includes custom voiceovers, with Norman Reedus reprising his role as Daryl Dixon to bring authenticity to the crossover.

The highlight of the event is the menacing H3 tank, fitted with the “No Sanctuary” 3D style—a rugged machine covered in wire mesh, fencing, and barbed wire, echoing the brutal tone of the series. Players will also find familiar relics from the apocalypse, including Daryl’s motorcycle and crossbow, Michonne’s katana, Negan’s bat “Lucille,” and Rick’s sheriff’s hat.

To enhance the experience, players can customize their vehicles with The Walking Dead-themed decals and attachments, such as the “Walker Bait System” and the “Saviors’ Machine Gun.” Each modification tells a story of survival, adding layers of depth and nostalgia for longtime fans.

The collaboration celebrates both franchises’ commitment to immersive storytelling and community-driven experiences. With The Walking Dead now part of World of Tanks, players can truly fight the dead and protect the living—one shell at a time.
