Matt Hardy reveals more appearances are planned while staying committed to TNA
Summary
– Matt Hardy says The Hardys are in constant talks with WWE
– The team chose to remain primarily with TNA instead of returning full-time
– More WWE moments are expected before the end of 2026
The Hardys are not finished with WWE just yet. While speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Matt Hardy confirmed that discussions between the legendary duo and WWE are ongoing and active.
Matt explained that the brothers remain in regular communication about future appearances. He made it clear that fans should expect to see them involved in additional WWE moments moving forward.
Despite the open door, the decision was made to stay rooted in TNA rather than return to WWE full-time. Matt emphasized that TNA provides an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way and help strengthen the promotion’s growth. The flexibility allows them to succeed without stepping back into a full weekly schedule.
Matt also spoke positively about interactions with WWE leadership, including Shawn Michaels and Triple H. He noted that every experience working alongside them during the partnership has been smooth and professional.
The Hardys previously crossed over during the TNA-WWE collaboration and even captured the NXT Tag Team Championship during their run. Although their reign was short and they have not returned to NXT television since October, the relationship between both sides remains strong.
A firm return date has not been announced. However, based on Matt’s comments, more Hardy Boyz appearances inside a WWE ring appear to be a matter of timing rather than possibility.
