Konami has announced a major sales milestone for the Silent Hill 2 remake while launching a new promotion on the PlayStation Store.

The publisher confirmed that the remake has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide as of January 31. The figure includes digital sales, physical copies, downloads, and subscriptions across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

To celebrate the achievement, Konami launched its Spring Sale on the PlayStation Store. The promotion introduces significant discounts on titles from the Silent Hill franchise.

Players can currently purchase the Deluxe Editions of both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F at half their original price. The sale will run until March 25.

The Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Edition is now available for $39.99, reduced from its original $79.99 price. Silent Hill F Deluxe Edition has also been reduced to $39.99 from $79.99.

Two-game bundles are also part of the promotion. The Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F Standard Dual Pack is priced at $59.99, while the Deluxe Dual Pack is available for $71.99.

Both games received strong reviews following their release. The Silent Hill 2 remake was praised for faithfully recreating the classic survival horror experience while introducing improvements for modern players.

Silent Hill F also drew attention for taking the series in a different direction with its setting and gameplay. The game features a story set in Japan and leans more heavily into action while maintaining the franchise’s core horror atmosphere.

The success of the remake has also led to additional projects within the series. Bloober Team, the studio behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, is currently developing a remake of the original Silent Hill.

Another upcoming project is Silent Hill Townfall, a first-person entry being developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn and set in a remote fishing village.
