Seth Rollins Not Yet Cleared For WWE In-Ring Action

Former champion still protecting shoulder following surgery

Summary

– Seth Rollins confirmed he has not been medically cleared for in-ring action

– The masked men segment on Raw helped protect him from physical contact

– Rollins expects he may need a few more weeks before returning to full action

Seth Rollins may be appearing on WWE television again, but the former world champion is still not cleared for full in-ring competition.

During an appearance on the Good Morning Football program, Rollins revealed that his surgically repaired shoulder still requires protection before he can safely return to physical matches.

Rollins explained that his recent involvement in a segment on the March 9 episode of Raw was carefully designed to avoid contact while he continues recovering. The segment featured a group of masked figures flooding the ring to confuse Austin Theory and Logan Paul about which one of them was actually Rollins.

The distraction allowed Rollins to briefly appear and disappear without getting involved in any physical action. According to Rollins, the chaotic scene worked exactly as planned, even if the execution looked messy.

Rollins joked that the group of masked performers moving around the ring was not exactly the most synchronized operation. He compared the confusion to a football team running plays with little coordination.

Despite the chaos, Rollins said the plan succeeded because it protected him from physical involvement while advancing the storyline.

Rollins confirmed he still needs additional time before he can safely return to full contact. He noted that he must continue protecting his shoulder for at least a couple more weeks before doctors evaluate his readiness to compete again.

The injury dates back to the fall of 2025 when Rollins underwent shoulder surgery following a Crown Jewel Championship match against Cody Rhodes. The injury forced him out of action for several months.

Although he remains sidelined from competition, Rollins has been slowly reintegrated into WWE programming while continuing his recovery.

If his progress continues as expected, the wait for Rollins to return to in-ring action may not last much longer.
