Star hints at training timeline as recovery continues
Summary
– Seth Rollins discussed his shoulder rehab and return expectations
– Rollins estimated eight to twelve weeks of ramping up after his sling is removed
– A full comeback could land anywhere from February to April
Seth Rollins provided a clearer picture of his recovery process following the shoulder injury he suffered at WWE Crown Jewel. The injury occurred when Rollins landed awkwardly during a coast to coast headbutt against Cody Rhodes, a match he ultimately won before later vacating the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Appearing on Something’s Burning with Bert Kreischer, Rollins explained that he expects to shed his sling in about a month. After that, he may take a short break before ramping up training for his eventual return to the ring.
When asked about the buildup to full in-ring activity, Rollins estimated that it would take eight to twelve weeks of conditioning once he begins training. His early hope pointed toward February, though Becky Lynch questioned the timing. Rollins acknowledged that a longer timeline is possible and noted that medical projections suggest he may not return until April.
During his absence, Rollins has remained active through NFL media appearances and will join the on-air team for NFL Christmas coverage on Netflix.
