NXT and TNA Collide in Chaotic Eight-Man Tag Team War

Tensions explode as both brands battle for momentum before Final Resolution

Summary

– TNA gains early control after a surprise attack

– NXT shifts momentum through interference and teamwork

– A strike from King’s cane leads to a controversial NXT victory

The latest episode of TNA iMPACT delivered an intense preview of Final Resolution as TNA and NXT clashed in a chaotic eight-man tag team match. After weeks of ambushes and surprise attacks from the NXT contingent, TNA struck first with Steve Macklin and Cedric Alexander blindsiding their opponents before the bell. The Hardys joined the assault as the arena erupted in support of the TNA roster.

Once the match officially began, TNA controlled the pace. Jeff and Matt Hardy isolated Stacks and repeatedly cut off NXT’s attempts to regroup. The momentum shifted only after Lexus King stepped in to prevent Poetry in Motion, allowing NXT to swarm Cedric Alexander and gain their first real advantage.

From there, the action became increasingly unpredictable. Tyson DuPont and Tyreek Igway overpowered Alexander, while King used every opening to exploit the numbers game. TNA fired back when Jeff Hardy launched himself over the ropes to wipe out the field. The Hardys nearly sealed the win after hitting Poetry in Motion, but interference from all sides kept the match alive.

As bodies collided throughout the ring, Macklin nearly finished the match until Lexus King struck him with his cane. The illegal shot created the opening for Stacks to secure the win, giving NXT a heated victory heading into Final Resolution.
