Natalya’s upcoming autobiography, The Last Beating Hart, is making headlines for its content and how it came to life. Contrary to rumors, the longtime WWE star says the book wasn’t a contractual demand but a creative project born from honest conversations with the company.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Natalya dismissed reports that she required WWE to approve her book as part of her re-signing terms. “I saw something the other day that said Natalya made these demands,” she said. “I was like, no, no, no. There were no demands. It was just a conversation.”
The 20-year WWE veteran explained that her motivation during contract negotiations was about growth and balance. “The big thing for me with re-signing my new deal is that it sparked all these new things I wanted to do,” she said. “I told my husband, TJ Wilson, I don’t want to continue if I can’t grow. I wanted to find something fair but also be able to pursue other projects.”
One of those projects was the memoir, which she described as deeply personal. “The book was something that had been pulling at my heart for a long time. I went to WWE and told them, this is really important for me. I want to write my book. They were extremely supportive.”
Natalya also revealed that WWE went above and beyond to help bring her story to life. “They’ve helped me with photos, they’re helping with my book tour, and they’ve just been so supportive through the entire process,” she said. “It means the world.”
The Last Beating Hart, releasing October 28, chronicles Natalya’s journey through wrestling royalty, her 20-year WWE career, and her evolution as both a performer and a person. For her, the memoir is more than a look back; it reflects growth, resilience, and passion that continue to drive her forward.
