The wrestling community is mourning the loss of Bobby “Mo” Horne, the beloved former WWE Tag Team Champion, who passed away at 58 after a battle with pneumonia and a blood infection. Horne had recently been in intensive care, with friends and colleagues asking fans to keep him in their thoughts.

WWE Hall of Famer Leilani Kai confirmed his passing and shared a touching tribute, remembering Horne’s kindness and infectious spirit from their time together in the WWF during the 1990s. “He was always smiling, joking around, and treating everyone with respect,” Kai wrote. “Bobby had that special warmth that reminded you wrestling isn’t just about what happens in the ring it’s about the people and the memories.”

Trained by Ivan Koloff and the Anderson brothers, Horne began wrestling in 1991 before forming the Harlem Knights with Nelson Frazier (later known as Mabel/Viscera). The duo, alongside manager Oscar, became a popular tag team in WWE as Men on a Mission. 1994 they captured the WWF Tag Team Titles during a European tour, solidifying their place in tag team history.

After his WWE run, Horne continued to wrestle in Memphis and the independent circuit while facing serious health challenges. Over the years, he underwent both kidney and liver transplants and overcame life-threatening illnesses, but never lost his love for the business or the fans.

Bobby “Mo” Horne will be remembered as a champion and a man who carried joy wherever he went, a performer whose laughter, kindness, and legacy will live long after the final bell.
