– Green and husband Matt Cardona still plan to start a family in the future

Chelsea Green has decided to hold off on starting a family after returning to WWE. In an interview with Woman’s World, the former WWE Women’s United States Champion explained that she and her husband, Matt Cardona, agreed to delay their plans when she was offered the chance to return in 2023.

“We put it on pause when I was asked to come back to WWE,” Green said. “This was an opportunity we both knew we could not turn down. If I turn it down, I’m going to end up having kids and resent the family life.”

At 34, Green admits she still wants children but is focused on her wrestling career. “I’m 34. I’m dying for babies. My husband wants babies, but duty calls. I’m making money. I’m living my dream.”

Even so, she has not ruled out the possibility of starting a family soon. “You never know. In a couple of months, if it happens, God willing, it happens. I’ll just have to take my babies on the road with me.”

Meanwhile, Matt Cardona recently made a surprise WWE appearance on the October 14 episode of NXT in a match against Josh Briggs. His return has sparked speculation about whether a full-time comeback could follow.

For now, Chelsea Green balances career success and family dreams with determination and honesty.
