AEW Dynamite Overtakes WWE NXT in Weekly Ratings Battle

Dynamite’s Blood & Guts delivers major momentum shift

Summary

– AEW Dynamite outdrew WWE NXT with 600,000 viewers to 554,000 viewers

– Blood & Guts boosted Dynamite’s 0.15 demo rating over NXT’s 0.07

– NXT featured key returns but couldn’t maintain prior week’s momentum

AEW Dynamite regained the upper hand this week in the ongoing head-to-head clash with WWE NXT. Dynamite scored a strong 600,000 viewers for its November 12 broadcast on TBS, surpassing NXT’s 554,000 viewers from the November 11 episode on The CW Network. The shift ends NXT’s recent run of competitive weeks on network television.

Dynamite’s advantage was even more pronounced in the P18–49 demographic. The show posted a 0.15 rating, more than doubling NXT’s 0.07. The boost was driven by the Men’s Blood & Guts main event, where Jon Moxley tapped out in a dramatic finish that caught viewers off guard.

Dynamite also showcased a high-stakes Women’s Blood & Guts match, ending with Toni Storm surrendering to protect Mina Shirakawa. With both matches generating major buzz, the episode delivered one of Dynamite’s strongest weeks in months.

NXT featured several standout moments of its own, highlighted by Oba Femi’s return to confront Ricky Saints at the end of the show. Despite the added intrigue, NXT couldn’t match the surge in interest around Dynamite’s special presentation. The ratings listed reflect linear TV only and exclude digital viewership from MAX, The CW app, and other streaming sources.

The week-to-week comparison shows Dynamite jumping from 497,000 to 600,000 viewers, a 20.7% increase. NXT held steady but wasn’t able to keep pace with Dynamite’s surge following the premium-style lineup.

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT remain locked in a competitive battle for midweek wrestling dominance as both brands continue building toward major year-end storylines.
