Dead City Season 3 Takes Over Comic-Con

AMC will preview the new season before hosting an early premiere screening for fans

Summary

– The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 will headline the franchise’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation

– Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join cast members and producers for the Hall H panel

– Fans attending Comic-Con can watch the season premiere two days before its AMC debut

The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 will take center stage when AMC returns to San Diego Comic-Con.

The franchise’s annual Hall H presentation will focus on the upcoming season instead of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which has traditionally received attention during the event.

The panel will take place at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday, July 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will appear to discuss the next chapter for Maggie Rhee and Negan.

New cast members Aimee Garcia and Raúl Castillo are also scheduled to attend alongside showrunner Seth Hoffman.

Scott M. Gimple, AMC’s Chief Content Officer for The Walking Dead Universe, will join the conversation and offer a wider look at the franchise.

The panel is expected to reveal more about Maggie and Negan’s changing relationship as they attempt to build a better future for Manhattan.

Season 3 will introduce a more hopeful direction after the pair spent much of the previous season trapped by their history and ongoing conflict.

Maggie and Negan will work with Perlie Armstrong as they continue to deal with The Croat, The Dama, and the dangerous forces controlling New York City.

Fans attending Comic-Con will also receive an early opportunity to watch the season premiere.

A special screening will take place at The Loft at Petco Park on July 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

The screening will allow attendees to watch the episode two days before its television and streaming debut.

Dead City faced criticism for returning to Maggie and Negan’s long-running feud after the original series appeared to bring their conflict to a natural stopping point.

Season 3 could move the spinoff into fresh territory by forcing the characters to cooperate rather than repeating the same cycle of hatred.

The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, July 26.
