On the upcoming episode of Impact on AXS TV, Impact World Champion Josh Alexander will officially relinquish his title after suffering a torn triceps, which is expected to keep him out of action for a significant amount of time.

The World Title will be up for grabs at next month’s Rebellion pay-per-view, where no. 1 contender Steve Maclin will face off against NJPW star KUSHIDA.

In addition to the World Title announcement, it was revealed that Jody Threat will be making her promotional in-ring debut on next week’s show. Threat, who has been a frequent indie wrestler, made her AEW debut last year and garnered attention for her match against Athena.

These new additions will join the previously announced trios bout featuring Tommy Dreamer, Yuya Uemura, and former NHL player Darren McCarty against Bully Ray and The Good Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch).
