Raquel Rodriguez, the current WWE “SmackDown” star, recently gave insight into her experiences with “NXT” in an interview with Fightful.com. Among the topics discussed was the excitement of participating in Battle Royal matches while dressing up for Halloween during non-televised events.

According to Rodriguez, the wrestlers themselves are responsible for choosing their costumes, allowing for a great deal of creativity and fun during these matches. She noted how dressing up as different Superstars, or even animals, allowed her to embody their characteristics and bring them into the match, creating a unique and entertaining experience for all involved.

Rodriguez, who went by the name Raquel González during her time with “NXT,” achieved great success in the organization. Alongside Dakota Kai, she became the inaugural “NXT” Women’s Tag Team Champions on the show’s March 10, 2021 episode. However, their reign was short-lived as former WWE Superstar Athena, also known as Ember Moon, and Shotzi won the titles from them in the same episode.

After making her official main roster debut in April 2022, Rodriguez has continued entertaining and exciting WWE fans with her impressive athleticism and dynamic personality.
