The WWE Elimination Chamber, which is the final significant hurdle on the road to WrestleMania 39, has officially concluded, and WWE superstars are eagerly anticipating the bright lights of Hollywood next month. The event featured several fantastic matches and moments, one of which was orchestrated by Montez Ford, a member of Street Profits. We now have information regarding Ford’s rumored injury at the event.
Last night, Montez Ford participated in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, a physically demanding contest for the WWE United States championship. The reigning champion, Austin Theory, faced five other challengers, including Ford and Seth Rollins.
Toward the end of the match, Rollins used a Stomp move to knock Ford out, and Theory took advantage of the situation to pin Ford and retain his title. However, Ford remained motionless after the pinfall, prompting the referee to call for medical personnel to attend to him.
Ford was eventually escorted out of the Chamber, which allowed Logan Paul to enter the match. Paul attacked Rollins and assisted Theory in securing the victory. According to Fightful Select, Montez Ford is recovering well, and the injury angle was created to facilitate Logan Paul’s entry into the Chamber. Additionally, Paul praised Ford on Twitter following the event.
In addition, Triple H, the WWE Chief Content Officer, recognized Montez Ford’s performance in the chamber match on Twitter, after neglecting to mention him during the post-Elimination Chamber press conference.
