WWE Raw next week features a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley, Carmella’s in-ring comeback, and several Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches.
Becky Lynch and Bayley will face off in a steel cage match on next week’s Raw in Orlando, Florida. Lynch challenged Bayley on this week’s episode after threatening Dakota Kai and Bayley accepted. The match was initially planned for last week’s Raw 30th-anniversary show but was replaced by a Lynch and Damage CTRL angle due to limited time.
Next week’s Raw also features three Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches.
Carmella returns to the ring after a 6-month hiatus in a 4-way Elimination Chamber Qualifying match next week, facing Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, and Piper Niven.
Carmella has been inactive since August, due to a head injury sustained at a house show. Later, she disclosed that she had experienced a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy.
After Rhea Ripley stated her aim to face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, Adam Pearce revealed on Raw that an Elimination Chamber match would be held at the namesake PPV on February 18 to determine who will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s title at WrestleMania. The final 4 eliminations from Saturday’s Royal Rumble automatically qualified for the Chamber match, with a fifth participant to be decided in next week’s qualifying match and one more participant yet to be announced.
Two qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber United States title match on February 18 are scheduled for next week’s Raw.
Montez Ford will face Elias in a qualifying match and Angelo Dawkins will take on Damian Priest in another for the US title Elimination Chamber match on February 18. Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins, and Johnny Gargano won their qualifying matches on this week’s show, securing their spots in the Chamber match where Austin Theory will defend the US Championship.
