“The Bloodline,” renowned for its strong family bonds in WWE, changed forever after the 2023 Royal Rumble. The event’s finale marked the downfall of the era’s most powerful faction. Upon Sami Zayn’s fateful choice and Jey Uso’s reported departure from the group, Solo Sikoa spoke out.
The leading faction under Tribal Chief Roman Reigns struggled with loyalty issues from Honorary Uce Sami Zayn for weeks. Meanwhile, Reigns’ feud with Zayn’s former ally Kevin Owens only exacerbated the situation.
Following The Tribal Court, Roman Reigns allowed Sami Zayn to remain in The Bloodline but put him through a final loyalty test at the Royal Rumble. The Tribal Chief chose to have only Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman support him in his match against Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship.
The match ended with Roman Reigns defeating Kevin Owens and retaining his title, followed by a post-match assault by The Bloodline. However, when Reigns instructed Sami Zayn to attack Owens with a steel chair, Zayn struck Reigns, revealing his allegiance and leading to his beating by his family.
